If anyone wants to do business here in Bangladesh, you must have different types license. To issue new or renew those licenses one must pay the fees to Bangladesh Government by Treasury Challan (13 digit code).
Nowadays 15% VAT is imposed on all types of government fees. So, if you want to issue a new Trade License for instance to open a business in Bangladesh, than you should pay License fees along with 15% VAT on total fees by treasury challan on any branch of Bangladesh Bank or Sonali Bank Limited in Bangladesh.

To deposit the fees by challan perfectly one must know the accurate Challan. Because if you mistype a single digit of 13 digit code than your deposited money will be lost. Recovering this money is a very complex and time consuming process. That's why requesting to check and double check to enure that you are depositing the money on the right code.

More importantly you will not get the Challan Code from the Bank. You should collect the code from concerned office or from website. In addition to that many people don't know how to prepare a challan or what to write on a challan form.
